I said anchovies...not centipedes!

The following pictures were taken by my esteemed colleague last Thursday night. The images below depict a slice of Papa John's pizza. The toppings we ordered were pepperoni and green olives. Apparently, the pizza maker was generous and decided to throw an extra topping in for free.

ENHANCE!

Mike D. here... the man who took the bite off the front of that pizza. I couldn't believe my eyes.

Then the guy at PJ's tells me he can send out another large pizza right away. I told him, "The last thing I want right now is Papa John's Pizza!" He said he would like to see it if I dropped it by, but could not dispatch a driver to come get it... I called him out and said, so you can dispatch a driver to deliver another pizza but not to come get the mistake?

I was pretty pissed off at the time, but they are busy keeping a clean kitchen so I got off his case.

I guess you could say they are taking "only the freshest ingredients" to the next level.

So I issued an online formal online complaint Friday 9/15 with corporate and have not heard a word since. I intend to send a letter with photos via snail mail to the FDA if I don’t get a response.

In my industry, we strive to over deliver to each and every customer, PJ’s is taking this to the next level!

The way my case was handled made me feel like things like this happen all the time and they don’t intend to deal with them. I for one will not be partaking in any dipping sauces any time soon.

Myself, being Mike's co-worker/boss, I have heard and told this story many time. I intend to keep this information public until a proper response is given from Papa John's. Until now, I had respect for the company and the product they sell. The lack of response is both unprofessional as well as careless. I would hope that the Management staff of this company responds quickly.

Unreal! I haven't had a Papa John's Pizza in a long time, and after seeing/reading this, I don't intend to for much longer than that. How pityful...in my business, if I so much as tell someone that something will be there, knowing it won't, I not only lose that customer, but every potential customer that person knows as well. I imagine this to be the case with this Pizza establishment as well. Sad.
