My computer crashed, and I'm loving every minute of it!

As you may have noticed, things have been awfully quiet around these parts. A lot of that has to do with the fact that our home PC took a crap on us about a week ago. This turn of events has actually been kinda cool, even though it'd be nice to have a machine that's working again. Here's some benefits of not having access to a computer 24/7:
  1. Spending more time with the family
  2. Getting more things done around the house
  3. Getting more sleep
  4. The chance to sit down and read a book
  5. The opportunity to sit in the basement and play/listen to music for the first time in awhile
In general, I feel like I've been a little more focused at home. While it'd be nice to get access to a PC again for simple things like iPod management, it's not too bad to be without the internet for awhile. Try it out sometime - you might like it.

For those of you with the internet, here are 2 items to check out:
  • Go here to check out some Soundcheck performance that the Foo Fighters did for Wal-Mart.
  • I was listening to the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion last night, wondering what in the hell they've been up to lately. Apparently, MTV has been having the same thoughts - check it.

Don't listen to Joe that he is actual enjoys being without his beloved internet. I've shared my husband with the internet since 2000. Everynight this week he's had his undies in a budle unable to cope not knowing if a new album has leaked. It's pure misery for him.
